Río Grande is a city and autonomous municipality located in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands belonging to the territory of the Argentine Republic.
Located on the northeast coast of the Great Island of Tierra del Fuego over the Argentine Sea, whose southern tributary of the Atlantic Ocean is called the Rio Grande, which is why the city takes its name.
It is located on the north coast of the province of Tierra del Fuego. With a population of more than 100,000 inhabitants, it is the urban center with the highest population density on the island.
The city is also connected by a modern International Airport through daily and regular flights to the main destinations. Place of privileged skies, with pink sunrises and orange twilight, is characterized by having a cold and windy climate.
